  • Heather Cartee is an author, speaker, worship leader, and Bible teacher passionately committed to helping women experience the fullness of who Jesus is. Known for her relatable, humorous, and heartfelt teaching style, Heather's approach to sharing God's Word resonates deeply with women of all walks of life.

She and her husband Carl, her college sweetheart, have spent over 20 years traveling and ministering together, leading worship and speaking at events across the country. They are the proud parents of four sons—Oak, Ezra, Abe, and Ike—and reside in Franklin, TN.

Heather’s love for God's Word was sparked during her college years, where she discovered a deep sense of truth and community through discipleship and mentorship. Her journey has been marked by a steadfast desire to worship Jesus and teach His Word, whether on the road or within the local church.

Co-founding Behold Women's Gathering, Heather is driven to inspire women to find their identity and purpose in Christ, encouraging them to thrive in their faith and service to others. Alongside her husband, she also speaks at Family Life’s Weekend to Remember marriage conferences and churches around the country. Heather’s personal experience of Christ’s healing and transformation fuels her mission to help women see that beholding Jesus truly changes everything.

  • A church girl at heart, Shannon Scott has been in ministry in various contexts for almost three decades. After many years as a staff member in the local church, she recently joined the team at QAVA, a ministry in Franklin, Tennessee, where she leads initiatives, creates content, and produces live events for the broader Church. Along with this new season of ministry, Shannon has launched her podcast, Everything Made Beautiful, centered on believing for His beauty in every season, as found in Ecclesiastes 3:11.  She considers the relational community among people pursuing Jesus to be essential to a flourishing life.

When she isn’t writing or teaching, you can find her with a cup of coffee (topped with whipped cream) spending time with her family, preferably at an Atlanta Braves game. Married for 25 years, she and her husband Jeffrey have three delightful children, Maggie (22), Jack (19), and Ali (17), as well as three pups, Nash, Loretta, and Maverick. If you spend much time with her, it won’t be long before you hear stories about and see pictures of all the kids and pups. Soon, she & Jeffrey will be empty nesters, and they are looking forward to even more time spent traveling together and leaning into the adventures God has in store.

April’s music ministry is a megaphone of God’s goodness + faithfulness in the face of grief and tragedy. April’s debut album, “Deep Waters” is a middle-of-the-ocean personal testimony of the drowning + the rescue. The wandering + the finding. The hurting + the healing. Join April as she worships in the wilderness. Telling her story of hope, loss, physical pain, waves of grief, streams of mercy and God’s steadfast love + faithfulness in every step + every breath. April leads worship at her home church in Nashville, TN and makes her home with her husband, Trey and their 3 kids. She can often be found with her family on a bike ride, around a board game or at a piano creating another song of praise.

  • Recording artist Spensha Baker is breaking barriers in the music industry, with a genre-defying sound infused with gospel roots. In Season 14 of The Voice, on Team Blake, she was the first African-American country singer to make it to the Top 4. Her songs from the show consistently landed in the top 10 on iTunes, with her rendition of original song, Old Soul, hitting #1 on the Country Charts and #3 on overall charts.

A performer since the age of six, Spensha got her start in gospel music, making appearances on Christian Artist Talent Search and Star Search, before signing with Geffen Records to release her debut album, “Outloud!” at the age of 15.  With both of her parents being prior military veterans, Spensha spent most of her childhood moving constantly to different military bases developing a strong and committed love for GOD and Country.

These days you can find her in sports arenas across the country singing our nation's song and traveling from all over Texas to Nashville leading churches and congregations in worship and working on an upcoming music project.
